About 30 Something!
We specialise in Art Deco lamps & lighting. We are a family run business established in 2005. We offer an eclectic mix of original period lighting, handmade bespoke luminaries and industrial lighting. All pieces are either restored to a very high standard, sourced from our selected lighting partners or are handmade in our own workshop. Our lighting range is made from quality British brass components. Most of our lighting will accept either standard or energy saving light bulbs. Fittings can be altered to suit your exact requirements. Please note that a small surcharge may be made for alterations to our standard range of products.
All lamps and light fittings are tested for electrical safety in line with the key principles of the Lighting Industry Associationís Code of Practice. Full details of our test and quality control procedures are available upon request. All our electrical components are manufactured in the UK and confirm to British Standards. A copy of our test equipment annual calibration certificate is available to download here.
We carry Public and Product Liability insurance of £5million. A copy of our policy schedule is available upon request.
Our light fixtures are rated IP20 and are therefore not suitable for bathrooms. Fittings should always be installed by a qualified electrician.
We work with interior designers, lamp restorers, antique dealers, television production companies and private clients. Samples are available for large projects. Bespoke lighting is our forte and we have many satisfied clients. Our E book brochure can be downloaded here

Restoration, Sourcing Services and Parts
We offer a sourcing service; replacement lighting parts & accessories can also be supplied as well as glass lamp shades. Further we undertake full restoration services at competitive rates, including, rewiring, alterations, welding, brazing, leading, filling & metal finishing, from polishing to chromium & nickel plating. We can arrange for cost effective remote collection and delivery by our reliable courier service.
Payment is expected for restoration work on completion, where clients are personally collecting completed works, we require prompt collection within 7 working days following notification. A Storage fee will be incurred following the seventh working day, at a rate of £7.95 per day, This charge covers the cost of offsite storage, removal and subsequent collection time. New commissions are arriving daily and we have limited onsite storage facilities.

We accept all major Debit and Credit Cards via WorldPay. WorldPay operate in 40 countries and are a major global leader in secure online card payment processing. Payments are only accepted in Pounds Sterling.
We pack all items professionally in new packaging with bubble wrap and eco friendly biodegradable chippings, which should prevent any damage to your purchases. In the unlikely event of damage, please retain the original packaging as this may be needed for any insurance claim.
Kindly note that it is the client's sole responsibility to provide adequate packaging when sending lamps or lighting for restoration. Our couriers will not cover for damage where goods are inadequately packaged and protected. Glass & Ceramics are also not covered by our courier's insurance. If you would like advice on suitable packing, then please contact us. We accept no liability for client's own goods being damaged in transit.
We recommend that when posting items to us that these are sent by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. Our prices for delivery include VAT and cover the costs of other operational overheads, associated with shipping your order.
Whilst every effort is made to provide accurate images of our products, we cannot guarantee the colour accuracy owing to differences in computer screens and screen resolution settings. Please note that the aged brass finish can vary in colour.
Glass Light Shades
Please note that all our glass lamp shades are individually hand blown. As such there may be slight size variations, air bubbles and minor flaws. We aim to match shades as closely as possible for multiple purchases, but cannot guarantee an absolute match.
All our lighting fittings are hand made and finished to order and as such we cannot accept returns unless the item is damaged or materially mis-described. We are happy to answer any questions prior to ordering. Special order items are also non returnable.
Most other items are subject to the The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, where you are contracting with us as a Consumer. Any returns should be notified to us in writing by post or by email & returned strictly within 14 working days following the day of receipt. Items are returned, save where the goods are being returned due to damage or defects, entirely at the client's own expense and risk, proof of posting is therefore advisable.
In accordance with the legislation, a refund will be processed within 14 working days following receipt of the returned goods.
Provided that you have taken reasonable care of the goods and they are received in the same condition as when dispatched, then the refund will be issued using the same method of payment, as when the order was placed.
Shortages or damages should be notified in writing strictly within 7 working days of receipt. We will do our utmost to remedy short orders as soon as possible.
Please retain the original packaging for damage claims, as this may be required for any insurance claim.
Whilst we will endeavour to dispatch your purchase(s) promptly, new light fittings are handmade to order. As such you should allow up to 28 working days for dispatch, during busy periods. Most items are sent by Courier and are delivered within 48 hours. Smaller Items are sent via Royal Mail or Aimail for our overseas customers. We are happy to provide international shipping quotations for larger items on request. The client has sole responsibility for any import duties or taxes payable. Shortages or damages must be notified strictly within 7 days of delivery.
This website is fully secured against loss of your personal data and complies with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1984. Your account information is held solely for the purposes of use within this website and will not be disclosed to third parties, other than our professional advisers, Royal Mail and our courier service providers. Your Credit and Debit Card information is held securely by Worldpay.
